The Blazewear Heated Horse Rug is great for warming horses when damp and shivering after being outside in winter and can also be used to prevent excessive cool down of horses after endurance riding. Horses that have been ridden for long periods will benefit from the heat that the rug provides to the muscles following exercise when horse is sweating to prevent the horse from going cold.

Five heat setting temperature control allows control of temperature and is a brilliant aid for relief of stiffness and as a treatment for injuries. Waterproof and breathable 800 Denier exterior, designed to be used as an outer rug or as an inner rug for stable rugs.

The blaze horse rug uses the very latest in polyester-based heating technology using a total of 12 heating strips in total to cover a larger heating area. Heating strips contain no metallic properties and are heated using a very safe low voltage of only 7.4V. Heating strips emit Far-Infrared radiation which has proven health benefits in aiding blood circulation. Rug interior is 100% polyester to ensure maximum heat transfer from the heating elements to the body of the horse.

For ease of use, the rug is fitted with small external pocket in the shoulder area of the horse to hold the small battery/heat controller with it's five heat setting control.
