Sulphur is the essential building block of life, as essential to the body as water. Cell regeneration requires regular supplies of sulphur to support the natural healing process. Unfortunately, due to modern packaging and processing of feeds, as well as limited species variation in pasture, sulphur is often lacking in the equine diet. Feeding elemental sulphur is of no benefit to the horse as it cannot be absorbed. Organic sulphur is natural to the horse's diet and readily assimilated. Chondroitin sulphate plays an integral role both in healthy cartilage and synovial fluid. Where wear and tear occurs, free radicals can proliferate and exaggerate the problem. Many strains and traumas from the daily training of performance horses, develop into a problem as a result of this.

Soluble Superflex contains organic sulphur (MSM) and Chondroitin sulphate in a readily absorbed liquid form. It also contains naturally sourced anti-oxidants. Soluble Superflex is recommended either where the horse's history suggests a need, or as an insurance measure. As liquids are readily absorbed it may be of benefit to the older horse where poor digestion is often associated with wear and tear.
