About Us Barnstormers is an established equestrian website with a proven track record specialising in the complete Shires Equestrian Products Range. If you see items in the catalogue that are not on our site, please do contact us for assistance. We pride ourselves on offering a fast, friendly and professional service and, to this end, all of our staff are horse owners with many years of experience between them. Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Occasionally, due to high demand or popularity, an item may be out of stock. Any item we cannot supply that is part of a larger order will be sent on postage free when it arrives back in stock. All items are offered subject to availability,

We accept Visa, Switch, Solo, Mastercard and Delta. You may send your credit card information via phone or fax. Please allow 6 working days for cheque clearance if you order by post.

Shipping And Handling Postage on all orders (without Winter Turnout, Stable Rugs and other large items as detailed in our catalogue) for delivery within the UK mainland is £4.00 (including VAT and insurance). The maximum postage charged for delivery within the UK mainland is £6.75. A next day delivery service is available for £8.50 subject to the items being in stock and ordered before 1.00pm. Normal deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9-6pm, Saturday delivery is possible at a cost of £15.00. (UK mainland only).

Northern Ireland and Scottish Islands delivery costs £6.95; Channel Islands costs £12.00. European and World Wide Orders - delivery will be charged at cost. Please email us at info@barnstormers.co.uk if you would like a quote.

Delivery Schedule We aim to despatch your order within one working day when paid for by credit/debit card. Most items are sent by courier service and will need to be signed for. You should receive your goods within 2/3 working days of placing your order. However, please allow up to 5 working days at times when we have our Annual Sale or Annual Rug Offer. Please allow an additional 5 working days if paying by cheque.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free. Please contact us for the corrected price if you live outside the EU.
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy We are happy to give refunds and/or exchanges (less postage charges) on all goods returned to us unused, in their original packaging, with their tags and undamaged within 7 days of customer receipt. Breakages, damage and ommisions must be notified within 24 hours of order being delivered. Returns postal charges are to be paid by the customer and we strongly advise that you obtain Proof of Postage and adequate insurance as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged. Goods received after this time scale will be allocated a credit note.

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry. Any item that comes back and needs cleaning will be charged.

If goods are returned for a refund when a free gift has been received then the customer must return the gift or have the cost of the gift deducted from any refund if the final total falls below the qualifying value.
